More About Pack 29

Up

Pack and Dens

The Pack includes everyone. At the monthly Pack meeting, Cub Scouts get their awards and often display things that they have done over the month. Cub Scouts and their parents attend the Pack meetings which are on a Friday and start at 7 PM with exception of January when we start at 6 PM. The Pack meetings are held in the church's Fellowship Hall. Siblings are also welcome to attend but they don’t earn the cub a bead. Each parent attending a Pack meeting earns a scout a bead. Beads are worn on a fob and are given to a scout in recognition of attending events and meetings.

The Pack is divided into Dens. Everyone in the Den is the same age/grade. If we have a lot of scouts, we may have more than one den for a grade. At den meetings, you get to do lots of fun things and work on advancements to achieve your rank. Den meetings are held on different days of the week depending on the individual members’ schedules. In addition to Pack and Den meetings we have other activities including:

Pinewood derby race
Cuboree and Webelo Woods - Camping
Blue Rocks Game and Sleepover at Frawley Stadium
4th of July Parade
Family Picnic
Blue and Gold Banquet
Scout Sunday
Hikes
Service Projects
Cub Scout Day Camp
Webelos Resident Camp
Family Camping
