Fob and Beads

Fob

A fob is a piece of leather that goes on your belt. It has your first name or nickname and the number 29 (our Pack number) and a piece of leather thong attached to it. You attach beads to the thong. You earn a bead for doing things like attending meetings and events. The beads have different colors.

Bead Colors

yellow - pack meeting
light blue - parent attending pack meeting
blue - event (e.g. attending Blue Rocks Baseball game)
red – den meeting
clear red – School night
green - fund raising
white with cross - attending service on Scout Sunday
black - pinewood derby race
glow-in-the-dark or glow-in-the-sun - summer day camp, Webelos overnight, Blue Rocks sleepover
clear blue - swimming
iridescent red - 4th of July Parade
clear gold - Family Picnic
gold - help at school night
